== Please Be Patient While This Page Loads
== AutoCad Versions 2000 and up
Step 1
These instructions are for installation of the AutoCad drivers, not the Windows drivers ( Click here for
the Windows install ).
We suggest that you print this page to make it a little easier
while you go through the process.
Your version of Windows may vary from this, but you should
have enough information to get you through it. Starting at
the driver download page choose the driver that suits your
Needs:
After clicking on the link to the driver page and selecting the
correct driver, you will be prompted with the window below:
Choose "Save this program to disk". Then hit "OK"
The next window below will come up asking where you want to
save this file. You can save it anywhere but the desktop, as
shown is the most convenient place and you'll see why later.
Click "Save"
The file containing the drivers is now downloading:
When the download is complete the window above
will change to the window below:
If you choose "Close" This allows you to install at a
later time and if you saved the file to your desktop
you can start the install by double clicking the icon
like the one below:
You may choose to "Open" which will start the driver
installation process.
Before you start the install make sure you have closed
all other Windows applications. Once you've started
you will see the the window below:
Click Unzip to install the driver files to the specified
directory. NOTE: If you have started this file from a
disk you must change the "Unzip to folder" path to
C:\OCEHDI.
Once the files are extracted You'll see this window:
Click "OK" Then "Close"
Now Remember the file we saved on the desktop?
You may delete this file now, it is not needed for anything
else. You can right click on it and select delete or
drag it to the Recycle Bin.
